Do you have confidence when leading a team or project?  Are you confident enough to speak up when you know something isn’t right?  Do you feel confident to have those challenging conversations with your team members?

If you struggle with confidence, it may be because you have a belief that you aren’t confident, or you can’t be confident in certain situations.  And this belief may not even be your own, you may have picked it up from someone else without even knowing it.

Let me give you an example – a few years ago I was working on a project and I was dealing with a very dominant leader who needed to be right all of the time.  In a meeting they said something that I knew wasn’t right, but instead of calling it out in the meeting, I waited to speak to them personally.  Unfortunately for me they didn’t take this very well and told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about.  This really shook my confidence because I then took on their belief that I didn’t know my stuff.  This belief then showed up everywhere, in my work and in my personal relationships.  It wasn’t until I was doing a session with a fellow ThetaHealing® practitioner that, through the digging technique this situation was uncovered.  For years I had been carrying the other persons belief without even realising it.  Once we had identified it, I was able to clear it and the effects were immediate.
